Our ministries are supported by the financial stewardship of the members and friends of Christ Lutheran Church.
Worship – We gather together in Christian community to express our common faith through Word and Sacrament, to sing and pray and celebrate God’s love for us.
Parish Council – meets at 6:00 PM on the third Tuesday of each month.
Music – an integral part of expressing our faith. We are blessed with a wonderful organist and director of music and many talented musicians.
Sacristans, Altar Service –insure the altar and chancel are properly prepared for worship.
Welcoming Ministry – welcomes visitors and members and works to increase awareness about all God’s children who are blessed by God and given grace by Christ.
Reconciling in Christ – We believe that God's grace is for everyone. If you are a life-long Lutheran, from another denomination or faith tradition, or searching on your spiritual path, you are equally welcome here. You are welcome no matter your age, ethnic background, church history, political perspective, economic condition, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or education. Because we believe this, we are a Reconciling in Christ congregation.
Hospitality Ministry – prepares refreshments for members and guests after the Sunday liturgy.
Prayer Shawl Ministry – Prayer shawls are knit or crocheted with love and blessings and given to people facing emotional or personal issues, great pain or sorrow.
Food Pantry – the church stocks a pantry of non-perishable food items and distributes these items to families in need.
Distribution is on Thursdays, 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
St. Elizabeth’s Supper Program – volunteers provide, prepare and serve support on the 3rd Saturday of each month to the residents of St. Elizabeth’s Homeless Shelter.
Parish Nurses – volunteer health care providers available to the church as the need requires.
Lutheran Advocacy Ministry – New Mexico – called to advocate for justice in public policy.
Prayer Bead Ministry – meets monthly for creating prayer beads and thoughtful prayer.
Thanksgiving Turkey Ministry – Holiday meals items collected and provided for families in the community.
Advent Families – each year our congregation purchases new Christmas gifts for a number of families in our community.
Holiday Meals – Meals prepared and served for members, families and visitors at Easter and Thanksgiving at the church.
